Certified RCMP Criminal Record Check for Kuwait Visa

You will be required to submit an RCMP certified criminal background check as part of your Kuwait visa application. Police clearance letters and criminal background checks from local police departments will no longer be accepted.

An RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check: What Is It?

You must provide all ten fingerprints for an RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check in addition to the standard criminal record check, which just looks up your name and birthdate.

You can use a fingerprinting service in Canada or go to your local police station in person to have your fingerprints taken in order to receive an RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check. After digitizing your fingerprints, the police or fingerprinting provider will submit your application for a Certified RCMP criminal record check.

What procedures must be followed in order to authenticate and legalize the Certified Criminal Record Check?

The RCMP Director General’s signature will be used by Global Affairs Canada in Ottawa to certify the RCMP approved criminal record check.  Your document is sent to the Embassy of Kuwait for legalization after it has been authenticated by Global Affairs Canada (JLAC office), or respective provincial authentication office.

You may have the certified criminal record check sent directly to us from the RCMP for authentication and legalization. We will personally handle each step of the process on your behalf and send you the completed document.

If you have any questions concerning the procedure or where to locate a fingerprinting service, get in touch with Document Legalization of Canada by calling our Toll-Free number 1-833-700-5342 or by filling the below form. We can cut down on processing time by many weeks!
